Community members were welcomed by the Fargesn team at Mokabe's Coffee House today between 10am-2pm. Stories were shared over delicious vegetarian (except the bacon!) treats and coffee. A huge thanks to the Mokabe's Family for being such a wonderful base for the project.
We heard amazing stories, including one that detailed the challenge of a Ferguson school teacher following Michael Brown's death. Our own intern, Shoshana, shared her own story of her high school's desire to control the student discussion surrounding the event.
We listened, and now others are invited to as well. Want to share your own story? Record it as a voice memo or audio file and email it to us. We'd love to hear it!
